The British Home

The British Home Community is Brookfield is located 10 miles west of Chicago on 10 acres. Established in 1920, this Midwestern District Home provides independent and assisted living apartment homes, private sheltered care accommodations and a state-licensed skilled nursing rehabilitation care.

Wye Valley Apartments offer 66 apartments to independent and active seniors.

The Woodlands Assisted Living Residence provides assisted living in this 73 apartment community.

The Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center contains 72 beds where excellent nursing care and rehabilitation is provided.

The Home also offers a “Staying at Home” program that helps 1000 older adults remain in their homes in the community.

The Daughters of the British Empire has members that are on the Board of the British Home. Two Kansas members currently serve on Board of Directors.
